NoDa Street Market is located in North Davidson, or NoDa, a diverse and eclectic neighborhood in Charlotte’s arts and entertainment district with a population of just under 3,000 which is likely to double in size with the already proposed surrounding development plans in place. Noda Street Market opened fall of 2017. The current tenants are Sherwin Williams (4,500 sf approx), Crown Station Coffee House & Pub (2,600 sf with outdoor patio space) and DeeJai Thai Restaurant (2,600 sf approx with outdoor seating). Divine Barrel Brewing (8,400 sf approx, with a large patio) is targeting to open January 2018. There is currently 4,500 sf of subdividable space available with an optional 1,500 sf raised patio that is located in the front of the building with the brewery and faces busy N Davidson St. The target tenant mix for the remaining space will be retail, fitness or restaurant.

Additional facts about the destination:

  • NoDa Street Market is accessible via the LYNX Blue Line Light Rail Expansion at the rear of the property, scheduled to be operational in early 2017, and connecting the property to UNCC, approximately a 12 minute ride.
  • When the Blue Line Expansion is complete it is expected to transport 24,500 riders each week that will have access to NoDa Street Market. NoDa Street Market will be located between two light rail stops, 1) the Sugar Creek Park and Ride 0.2 miles away with 1,100 parking spaces and connecting to North Davidson Street via a pedestrian bridge, and 2) the 36th Street Station 0.4 miles away. Both stops are just a short walk to the property.
  • The Craighead Railway Crossing is closing in late 2017, opening up green space, street parking, and bike lane along North Davidson Street.
  • The NoDa neighborhood is a rapidly developing area with a mix of condos, townhomes, and single family homes, with a population that is expected to nearly double in the next 18 months. An estimated 2000+ people will move into nearly 1300 new residences within a half mile of NoDa Street Market.
